My latest obsession

I'm not sure how I stumbled upon my first blog, but it changed my life forever. I found a craft blog. And then I found another one. They had craft tutorials, ideas, pictures, recipes, and all in one place. It was if I was just discovering the internet for the first time! I sat there for hours, blog after blog, craft after craft, and the decorating ideas?! OMG. I felt like Littlefoot when he found his own kind... So after a few months of being obsessed with everyone else's blog, I've started my own. And it's going to be about everything. At least for now.

1st order of business: Naming my blog. I've already been up 3 nights in a row obsessing over what I should name my blog. I had tons of great stories I wanted to share but I'm stuck deciding what to call it. I hate being like that! I get obsessed with names. You should've seen how hard it was for us to name our dog. And he's just a dog. I still want to re-name him. It's like once I get a name I like, I come up with a better idea. I couldn't imagine having to name a kid. I can't even have one nickname. I started out as fifi, then went to fif, then to feli, from philthy to philly. I don't like labels. And I don't like rules. What I do like are lists. I love the feeling of marking that last thing off a list. So here's my list of topics that will be covered in this blog, in order of importance

Life is a journey. I believe it is many journeys. And you don't get to start the new one until you learned what you needed to learn on the first one. This is going to be my place to share all my crazy projects and ideas, goals, jokes (I really want to be a comedian) and thoughts. A place to share what I'm learning on my journey to hopefully make yours better.

I've heard I have an old soul, but I think it's because I've always had my eye on journeys before me, to help me avoid bumps in the road in mine. There are people who have to learn the hard way, and I just hope that by some chance, you take what you need from here! I love to share and I love to learn. (I would say 90% of the recipes on here won't be original creations. And a big majority of decorating ideas and crafts are copy-cats). But don't hate me! This world is big enough for all of us.

DISCLAIMER: I hope I don't offend anyone. I don't usually have a problem offending people, but I've never gotten to be this honest. And apparently honesty is the best policy. I'm going to be honest with you and with myself. ( <---I'm sure the answer to why I'm not losing weight is somewhere in there) I'm just sharing my opinions. I'm not going to get all political or religious or anything like that. But like I said before, I'm no expert...

I was pretty hesitant to start a blog. I thought great, just what we need, another self-centered idiot sharing stupid pointless information. But then I thought, why not! At least I'm a funny idiot. So here it is. I promise it will be more interesting than facebook stalking your ex-boyfriend's new girlfriend or what you ate for breakfast.
